Alianța Gala & Summit – 2024

The 2024 Alianța Gala and Summit is the yearly event celebrating the Romanian-American Partnership and honoring the achievements of those who further it. Dâmbovița County will be the Regional Partner for this year’s Gala, as it also celebrates two significant milestones: 20 years since Romania joined NATO and 10 years of Alianța. The event will take place on Thursday, December 12 and Friday, December 13 at the Willard Hotel located at 1401 Pennsylvania Avenue, NW, Washington, DC 20004.

The Alianța Gala will take place on Thursday, December 12 starting at 5:30 pm and will include a Cocktail Reception until 7:00 pm, the Awards and Dinner Gala until 11:00 pm followed by an After Party with DJ Lamia until 1:00 am. The Gala will honor General Wesley Clark, a highly decorated retired four-star general of the United States Army and former NATO Supreme Allied Commander, who will be the recipient of Alianta’s International Public Service Award .

The Alianța Summit will take place on Friday, December 13 and will feature a day of networking with industry experts and a series of exciting discussions in an intimate setting. The morning panels will cover: Security and Business Alliances with experts from various fields discussing the evolving security dynamics and exploring growth opportunities in the business alliance between the U.S. and Romania. It will be followed by the Lunch conversation with John Florescu and EU Ambassador Ms. Jovita Neliupšienė. The afternoon panels will cover the topics of Environmental Alliance which will address key environmental challenges, with one more panel topic to be confirmed, making for a comprehensive dialogue on critical issues.
