Romanian Food Festival

The Romanian Food Festival, Washington DC’s largest and oldest festival dedicated to Romanian food, music, art and culture will take place between May 19 and 21 on the grounds of St. Andrew’s Romanian Orthodox Church located at 9111 River Road, Potomac, MD.
As with past festivals, members of the local Romanian community will prepare authentic Romanian food using recipes passed down from generations to generation. There will also be a marketplace with Romanian books, jewelry, icons etc. The Romanian Spirituality can be experienced through the church visitation and discussion about it’s history and relevance for our society and daily life.
On Friday the Festival will take place from 3 until 7 pm and on the weekend between 11:00 am and 7:00 pm. The organizer, the Saint Andrew Romanian Orthodox Church, is looking forward to sharing our Romanian history and culture with you!
