Alianța Gala & Summit 2023

The Alianța Gala and Summit is the yearly event celebrating the Romanian-American Partnership and honoring the achievements of those who further it. The event will take place on Wednesday, November 29 and Thursday, November 30 at the Willard Hotel located at 1401 Pennsylvania Avenue, NW, Washington, DC 20004.
The Alianța Gala will take place on Wednesday, November 29 starting at 6:00 pm and will include a Reception until 7:30 pm, Dinner until 10:00 pm followed by an After Party until 1:00 am. The Gala will honor U.S. Senator Mitt Romney with the International Public Service Award and Gheorghe Mureșan, former NBA Player with the Outstanding Achievment Award. It will also recognize Raytheon Technologies with the Business Innovation Award, Rotary Piatra Neamț with the Humanitarian Award, and Peace Corps with the Volunteerism Award. The winners of the 2023 Romanian American National Heritage Award, an annual competition for high school students with Romanian heritage or background, will also be announced during the Gala. Andreea Rebăltescu will provide the musical entertainment for the evening.
The Alianța Summit will take place on Thursday, November 30 and will feature a day of networking with industry experts and a series of exciting discussions in an intimate setting. The sessions will start at 9:30 am and will cover the following topics: Defense Resilience for Romania; IT Resilience in Times of War; a Luncheon with John Florescu & Audra Plepytė – Ambassador of Lithuania to the United States and Mexico (RSVP required to secure your spot); Economic Resilience; and VISA Waiver.
